Want to know why this is the best shampoo for Bulldogs?

Our Shampoo and Conditioner are different to others. They are custom formulated for your Bulldog!

We did the hard work and researched what makes a Bulldog unique. With this knowledge, we tailored a hypoallergenic dog shampoo and conditioner specific to your Bulldogs needs. We also made this range ultra gentle.

Our Bulldog Shampoo is developed to be quick rinsing. This will ensure that the suds are not causing irritation by getting trapped within any folds, or sitting close to the skin due to the short single coat.

Our Bulldog Conditioner is developed to be lightweight and antistatic, ensuring it does not trap within any skin folds and cause irritation. It will gently hydrate and protect your Bulldogs skin and short coat.

Our Bulldog Shampoo & Conditioner are infused with Organic Almond, Clary Sage, Hemp & Rose Oils. All of these oils are specifically chosen to benefit your Bulldog.

How often should I brush my Bulldog?

Grooming

How often should I brush my Bulldog?

As Bulldogs have short fur that sheds frequently, they require brushing 3 times per week. The brushing will help with removing any excess fur, whilst redistributing the natural oils along the follicle. This will leave your Bulldog with a healthy skin and coat, feeling soft and smooth.

What brush is best for Bulldog?

Bristle brushes are best for your Bulldog due to the short single coat.

How often should I wash my Bulldog?

Whilst Bulldogs are one of the easiest dogs to groom, they can be prone to itchy skin. They can trap nasties between their skin or short coat. Our hypoallergenic Bulldog range is formulated to be ultra gentle in case you need to use more often than expected. The oils will also assist in replenishing any lost during the cleansing routine.

Whilst many Bulldog’s live the couch potato lifestyle, they still require washing every 6-8 weeks.

How do I trim my Bulldogs nails?

Our best tip would be to wait until your Bulldog is really tired! Hopefully that way they will put up less of a struggle.

Hold a paw firmly in your hand to ensure that your Bulldog doesn't have any unexpected pulling or movement.

Look very carefully at the nail for a pinkish inside - this is called the quick. Whether the nail is black or white you should be able to find the quick. If in doubt, ask your vet for help. This is where the blood vessels and nerves are so you need to avoid exposing this area.

Cut or file the nail leaving a few millimetres away from the quick.

Ingredients

ALL THE GOOD STUFF

We’ve invested a lot of research into our ingredients, typically used in baby formulations for their mildness. We have researched fur type, coat length, shedding cycles, exercise needs, temperament & grooming requirements when developing this range for your dog.

KEY INGREDIENTS

  1. Aloe Vera is a powerhouse rich in vitamins, minerals and amino acids. It is renowned for a vast array of medicinal benefits and proven to reduce skin irritations and nourish dry fur.

  2. Hydrolysed Wheat Protein has been split into tiny molecules that easily absorb into the hair shaft, retaining moisture. The protein also forms a protective layer for the skin against irritants whilst hydrating for a smooth feel.

  3. Studies have shown that Glycerin is the most effective humectant: hydrating the outer layer of skin, creating a protective layer against skin irritants and retaining moisture for a soft glossy coat.

  4. Panthenol (Provitamin B5) is known to improve hair structure and lustre whilst being critical to healthy coats. Absorbed readily into the skin to reduce irritations and redness, Provitamin B5 is an excellent moisturiser.

  5. Tocopherol (Vitamin E) is soothing for irritated and dry skin and proven to improve elasticity and smoothness of the skin. It is a powerful antioxidant that not only nourishes the skin, whilst also protecting the essential oils from free radicals.

BULLDOG SPECIFIC ORGANIC BOTANICAL OILS

  1. Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil* is a great all rounder emollient for dry or irritated skin. Rich in antioxidants, proteins & vitamins A, B & E, Omega 3, Magnesium & Calcium, the oil is also known to strengthen coat & treat hair loss.

  2. Salvia Sclarea (Clary Sage) Leaf Oil* is known for its soothing and restorative properties. It relieves sore muscles and is an excellent moisturiser.

  3. Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) Seed Oil* contains significant amounts of omega 3 & 6 and all nine essential amino acids used to make protein.

  4. Rosa Damascena (Rose) Flower Oil* is incredibly soothing and calming, helping ease anxieties and stress. The oil hydrates the skin and coat to moisturise and condition.
